Wandering, Wondering Carlos

Carlos liked to go out there and sit up in the hills and move his hands around through the air to see what kind of poems the world would trade him
for his curiosities about its secret heart.
He always went home knowing nothing more than he already had but there wasn’t a single night that it seemed like a waste of time.
